Savoy’s big brother museum, the Booth Western Art Museum, opened in 2003, with 80,000
square feet— eventually followed by a 40,000
square feet expansion— boasts that it’s the largest
museum of its kind in the Southeast and a Smithsonian Affiliate. It combines world-class collections with engaging experiences for all ages. One
of its signature events is West Fest, now in its 24th
year, taking place in October and including Native
American dancers, reenactments of the gunfight
at the O.K. Corral, a birds of prey show and traditional Mexican dances.

Families will love Sagebrush Ranch, the
Booth’s hands-on children’s area, while art enthusiasts can spend hours exploring galleries that
celebrate the resilience, diversity, and enduring
legacy of American West.
