and the pivotal role that technical
schools play in filling desperately
needed, high-paying nursing jobs.

it by preparing more nurses, especially in rural and underserved areas,”
said USG Chancellor Sonny Perdue,
following the agreement’s announce-

that drives student success, expands
access to care, and builds a more
prosperous Georgia.”
That articulation agreement is a
major win for colleges like Columbus
Tech, where the Division of Health
Sciences & Nursing is the largest
department at the school. At a time
when many hospitals— particularly in
rural communities— are facing serious
staffing issues, TCSG Commissioner
