location, and second was the renovation of the former Fayetteville City Hall
building just across the street. The old
City Hall, now known as “240 Glynn
Street,” has been transformed into a
modern and eclectic meeting place
and a hub for small businesses including The Hummingbird Wine Bar and
Speakeasy, the Java and Brie coffee
shop, and Sparrow Salon & Boutique.
240 Glynn Street includes many
artistic offerings, including a fully

functioning pottery studio. A beautiful historic home on the corner of
Lee Street and Fisher Street has been
renovated into Junk Mama’s General Store, offering arts and crafts for
purchase as well as opportunities to
create them.
Furthermore, the city is working
now on a creative placemaking plan
for the entire downtown district to
create a new Lee Street Arts District,
add public art throughout downtown
and improve pedestrian connectivity.
The Story is Still Being Written
There are truly “No Limits on
Imagination” in Fayetteville— and that
happens to be the city’s motto. This is
an unprecedented time of opportunity
and growth, not only in downtown
Fayetteville but across the entire city.
As it continues plans for revitalization,
while maintaining its historic charm,
the city is now well-positioned to welcome visitors from across the world
with the upcoming grand opening of
the U.S. Soccer National Training Center and Trilith LIVE.
