behind Fayetteville’s Trilith development. Today, Trilith Studios— where
many of the greatest Marvel and other
Disney films are being produced—
has more than 30 sound stages on
its approximately 700-acre campus.
Across the street, the charming Town
at Trilith neighborhood has become
a stunning symphony of residential
homes, boutique shops, and top-tier
restaurants capped on the south side
by a world-class, story-themed hotel.
On the north side there’s the much-anticipated Trilith LIVE complex, opening early 2026, which will feature a
concert venue, live-audience television
sound stages, luxury cinema screens,
conference and tradeshow spaces,
restaurants and more.
The success of the Trilith Studios
and Town at Trilith developments and
the excitement they generated within the tourism industry played a big
role in attracting the new U.S. Soccer
National Training Center and headquarters to the neighborhood as well.
Located just north of Trilith, a first-in-
the-nation, best-in-class soccer training
facility, is under construction on 200
acres featuring more than a dozen soccer fields and over 100,000 square feet
of indoor playing spaces. It is expected
to open in the spring of 2026 and to
bring an estimated 200,000 annual
visitors to the Fayetteville area.
Alleyway Project & Expansion
Following the successful completion of the Fayetteville City Hall &
City Center Park project, city leaders
immediately launched its Alleyway
Project which is currently under
construction. It will yield a beautifully designed gathering space behind
the westside restaurants and shops
on the Historic Courthouse Square
as well as the historic Holliday-Dorsey-Fife House, which has been renovated by the Fayetteville Downtown
Development Authority and attracted
Revival Wine and Dessert Bar. The
Alleyway investment will continue
to solidify Fayetteville’s status as a
dining and entertainment destination.
Still in the planning stages is a
project that may become the city’s
most ambitious ever. Known presently as “The 38 Acres,” this city-owned
parcel is designed by renowned
architect, Lamar Wakefield of NELSON
Worldwide, the creative mind behind
the Battery Park, Avalon and Halcyon
projects in Georgia. Initial plans for
the 38-acre project call for community
gathering space bordered by boutique
restaurants and retail, single and
multi-family homes, entertainment
venues, a hotel, and a walkable botanical garden. New roads and paths
would help ease traffic congestion in
the area and encourage residents and
visitors to spend more time enjoying
downtown Fayetteville.
Old City Hall & Arts District
Two recent downtown renovation
projects continue the work of revitalization and historic preservation. First
was the renovation of an old home
