FOR THOSE ON the Sippin’ Local Beverage Trail, a
perfect stop on the way to the Georgia mountains
from metro Atlanta is this year’s brewery winner, NoFo
Brew Co. Its main location is in Cumming— but
also has other taprooms in Cleveland and
Gainesville. NoFo is a craft beer and spirits
brand affectionately named after “North
Forsyth.” NoFo Brew Co’s name is a nod
to where they established their original
location in North Forsyth County in 2019.
The brewery was founded by Joe
Garcia, Shannon Miles and Bryan Miles—
three friends with a passion for craft beer,
craft spirits and a perpetual craving for adventure. Its beer is available at restaurants and
retailers throughout Georgia as well as the Florida
Panhandle. With live music every weekend and themed
trivia, there is a little something for everyone at NoFo.
They have three core beers, including a hazy New
England IPA, a Czech-style pilsner and a Mexican-style
lager. They also offer a wide variety of different beer
styles across all locations like sours, dark beers and

pale ales. They are also a full distillery,
making all their own spirits in-house
including bourbon, agave spirit, vodka,
gin and specialty spirits.
NoFo Brew Co has an international
flair, and the founders are big soccer
fans. In fact, the company is a sponsor
of Walsall Football Club located in Walsall, England with beer now in production
and distribution in the United Kingdom. NoFo
Brew Co is also a sponsor of Drogheda United Football
Club located in Drogheda, Ireland. It is also the official
front of kit sponsor for DUFC for the 2025 season.
“NoFo stands for more than North Forsyth to us
now. It’s about loving our neighbors, creating a place
for our community, pouring into our team and much
more,” said the owners. “We invite you to come have a
beer or cocktail, tap your adventurous side and discover what NoFo means to you.”
