industrial buildings and is the largest industrial corridor east of the
Mississippi. It is both large enough
for it have ample opportunity for
experimentation or development,
but also compact enough for these
projects to potentially connect easily to each other.
Boulevard is also undertaking
one of the most common projects
for a CID— landscape improvements. Before Boulevard CID, there
was very little effort on beautification or litter control. This was one
of the reasons the CID was formed
in 2010 and the area is a world
away from where it was 20 years
ago. More than $325,000 is spent
every year to beautify and keep the
district cleaned up and appealing.
Crews collect an average of 3,120
bags of litter and trash every year—
an achievement for the CID but perhaps a sad commentary on society.

is the district of True North 400,
the commercial district in north
Fulton County along Georgia 400.
What was formerly the mostly pinefilled eastern edge of Alpharetta
is now— still very pine-filled— one
of the fastest growing parts of one
of the fastest growing cities in the
region. Visitors returning after a
long absence will discover entirely
new roads, or roads that may be
unrecognizable.
