Perimeter CID
This CID is operating in a historic commercial center but effectively
changing with the times and growth
of the area around it. Perimeter Mall
is probably still thought of as the
anchor of the area, but it is also home
to hotels, hospitals, corporate headquarters and, of course, the top end of
the namesake interstate and Georgia
400. Now the neighborhood is filling
out more complete streets with bike
paths, updated sidewalks and extra
amenities to create a safer place for
pedestrians. Alongside the progress
on Dunwoody’s master trail plan,
Sandy Springs’ trail investments and
Brookhaven’s multimodal study, the
Perimeter CIDs have a hand in updates all around the area.
