Still, growth comes with
challenges, he stresses. The commercial services industry remains
highly fragmented, with intense
competition, labor shortages, supply chain pressures and permitting
hurdles all affecting operations.
For many founder-led businesses, Adams says, growth can become difficult simply because owners are forced to wear too many
hats. “They’re trying to service
customers, manage employees,
deal with payroll, HR, insurance,
legal issues, bonding requirements

and everything else,” Adams said.
“That’s a lot for one person.”
Grizzly’s model attempts to
remove many of those burdens.
Through its platform, the company
centralizes administrative functions including payroll, treasury
operations, insurance, benefits and
bonding capabilities. Adams says
the goal is simple: allow business
owners to spend less time managing back-office challenges and more
time doing what they do best.
“Grow your business, take care
of your customers and take care of
your employees,” Adams said.
BUILDING WITHOUT BREAKING
The growth strategy appears
to be gaining momentum. Since
launching last year, Grizzly has
already assembled multiple companies under its umbrella, including
businesses in Georgia, Florida, the
Mid-Atlantic region and the Northeast. Several additional acquisitions are expected in the Southeast
in the coming months.
Yet Adams is quick to point
out that expansion alone is not
