each year the task grows harder
as they expand and evolve. Combining statistics from prominent outside
rating services ranging from U.S. News and
World Report to Forbes, as well as detailed reports from the University System of Georgia,
we feel that our categories provide a comprehensive measure of how the state’s top
institutions of higher learning measure up.
Different schools excel in different areas
of study, so it can be difficult to measure how
colleges and universities with varying areas
of expertise compare. Nevertheless, we hope
our categories offer an inside view of how
Georgia’s academic institutions stack up.
As always, we are gratified that over the
years we have received feedback from parents and students that they appreciate this
feature as a starting point to help decide
which of Georgia’s many top-notch schools
could be the best fit.
