Income Tax Reform is Not Enough
Eliminating the income tax
won’t mean much if property taxes
keep rising without restraint. Families across Georgia are feeling real
pressure as higher home values
trigger higher bills, while some
local governments capture the
windfall without transparency or
accountability.
During the last two legislative
sessions, I led the effort to cap
excessive property tax increases
and bring more transparency to
local taxation. This session, I’ll
continue working to enact reforms

The Moment for Action is Now
Georgia’s strength comes
from its people— people who still
believe the next generation can do
better than the last. I believe it too.
But belief must be matched with
action. To secure Georgia’s future,
we need bold reforms, clear vision
and leaders willing to push past
the status quo.
I’ve spent my time in public
service delivering tax relief, supporting small businesses, protecting communities and advancing
policies that move Georgia forward. Now it’s time to build on
that momentum and take the next
big step.
In 2026, we have the opportunity to set Georgia on a path
toward the most transformative
tax reform in our history. Georgia
is ready for bold action— and I’m
ready to deliver it.
